“WHAT IS (YOUR) WORK CULTURE AND WHY CHANGE IT NOW”  was presented at the Portland / Lake Oswego’s Kruse Way Economic Forum earlier this year.


John Hagen, President and Managing Partner of Washington Search Partners and Consulting, introduced the almost directly opposite views of workplace culture held by company leadership versus the company workforce.  The presentation covered the need to change workplace culture in order to meet today’s challenging talent shortage and talent gap perceptions versus reality; the staggering differences in revenue, net profit and value growth within great cultures versus not; pervasive company non-compliance with federal employment and Labor laws; and, the initial steps needed to begin assessing and changing a company’s culture.
